Catalog Export for WhatsApp Web is a browser extension that saves a WhatsApp Business catalog, which you have open in WhatsApp Web, as a ZIP file on your computer.

What data the extension handles

When you click Export catalog, the extension reads the catalog shown in your WhatsApp Web tab: the business name, product names, descriptions, prices, collection names and product photos. It reads only the catalog screens. It does not read your chats, contacts, messages or account details.

How the data is stored and used

Everything is processed inside your browser. The result is written to one ZIP file that your browser downloads to your computer. The extension keeps no copy: it does not save anything in browser storage, and its in-page data is gone when you close or reload the tab.

Transmission and third parties

The extension does not send any data to the developer or to anyone else. It has no server, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It uses no third-party services. The only network requests it makes are for the product photos that WhatsApp Web is already showing you, which come from WhatsApp's own servers.

Data sharing and sale

No data is shared, sold or transferred to third parties.

Data retention and deletion

The extension retains nothing. The ZIP files it creates are ordinary files on your computer; delete them like any other file. Removing the extension removes it completely.
